Health Resources for Desk Jockeys

Staring at a computer all day can take a toll.


I'll be the first to admit I do a terrible job of getting away from the computer during the day. I track my steps with a pedometer, and last week I had an embarrassing 12,000. Good for a single day, horrible for an entire week. 


I'm writing this just as much for myself as for anyone else who spends too much time in front of a computer.

Tangerine Nojito




In another life, I want to be a mixologist.

I love coming up ideas for drinks (with alcohol and sans alcohol)l. This one happens to be non-alcoholic, but still delicious, I promise.


Sweet tangerine mixed with the tartness of fresh lime, muddled mint and crisp sparkling water. You don't really need the stevia, but I have a sweet tooth, so I throw it in.


Fun drink to serve on Taco night.


If you're having a party and want to make it more social, set up a Nojito bar and give your guests different juices and fruits to muddle in.  Arriba!

TASTY is Delish (and Super Fun)

Apparently everyone but me knows about Tasty, the Facebook phenomenon redefining the way recipes are shared. My sister introduced me to a recipe post over the holidays. I was entertained immediately.
